Many of you can relate to the dilemma of needing to decide on a major and career direction as an adolescent. There can be a lot of pressure! My colleague, Susan DeGrassi and I, are thrilled to be offering our summer workshops focusing on College and Career choices.

I have met many parents who believe their child should decide on a major before applying to college. Some colleges require a major, while other colleges won’t let students choose a major until their junior year. What is a good idea is to provide tools to begin the career discovery process. In addition, if your child is already in college, the earlier they have career direction, the better! Too many Young Adults graduate and have no idea what they want to be when they grow up!!

The Baldwin Career Group’s College and Career Boot Camp is a half-day workshop designed for incoming junior and seniors in high school and beginning freshmen and sophomores in College. This is also perfect for a student enrolled in a Community College. Using a variety of self-awareness assessments and tools, the students will learn how to uncover their talents and passions that lead to majors and career choices.

We have provided multiple dates for the same workshop to accommodate your schedules because we know how busy everyone is!

The one-hour follow-up “one-on-one” appointment will be scheduled after your child’s class date.
